Last Date to Link Aadhaar with Mobile Number

As per the government directive, linking Aadhaar to your mobile number is mandatory for all existing customers.
The last date is 6th of February 2018
SIM cards not linked to Aadhaar to be deactivated after February next year....

Jio Phone Bookings Start

NEW DELHI: For just Rs 500, you can book Reliance's Jio 4G feature phone.

At the Reliance Industries' 40th AGM, Mukesh Ambani had announced that interested consumers will be able to book the new 4G Jio feature phone at an "effective" price of Rs 0. The company had announced that a refundable security deposit of Rs 1,500 will be taken for the device to stop misuse. The deposit will be refunded after three years.

Here is how and where you can book Jio 4G phone:

1. You can book the phone either online -- on jio.com and MyJio mobile application -- or offline Jio retailers, multi-brand device retailers and Reliance Digital stores.

2. Phone can be booked by paying Rs 500 on the first-come-first-serve basis. The remaining Rs 1,000 can be paid at the time of delivery. Customers can get a full-refund of the security deposit of Rs 1,500 by returning the used JioPhone after 36 months.

പുതിയ 50 രൂപ, 200 രൂപ നോട്ടുകള്‍ പുറത്തിറക്കി

ന്യൂഡല്‍ഹി: ആശയക്കുഴപ്പങ്ങള്‍ക്കൊടുവില്‍ പുതിയ 50 രൂപ, 200 രൂപ നോട്ടുകള്‍ റിസര്‍വ് ബാങ്ക് ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യ പുറത്തിറക്കി. ആര്‍ബിഐയുടെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട ഓഫീസുകളിലൂടെയും ചില ബാങ്കുകള്‍ വഴിയുമാണ് നോട്ടുകള്‍ പുറത്തിറക്കിയത്.

200 രൂപ നോട്ടുകള്‍ അടുത്ത മാസമേ പുറത്തിറക്കൂ എന്നായിരുന്നു നേരത്തെ പ്രചരിച്ച വാര്‍ത്തകളെങ്കിലും വിനായകചതുര്‍ത്ഥി ദിവസമായ ഇന്ന് പുതിയ നോട്ടുകള്‍ പുറത്തിറക്കാന്‍ തീരുമാനിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. എന്നാല്‍ 200 രൂപ നോട്ടിനൊപ്പം 50 രൂപ നോട്ടുകള്‍ കൂടി പുറത്തിറക്കിയത് തീര്‍ത്തും അപ്രതീക്ഷിതമായിട്ടായിരുന്നു
രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ സാംസ്‌കാരിക പൈതൃകം വിളിച്ചോതുന്ന സാഞ്ചി സ്തൂപത്തിന്റെ ചിത്രമാണ് 200 രൂപാ നോട്ടിന്റെ മുഖ്യ ഘടകം. ലോകത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും പ്രാചീനമായ ബുദ്ധമത സ്മാരകങ്ങളാണ് മധ്യപ്രദേശിലെ സാഞ്ചിയിലുള്ളത്.
പുറകുവശത്തായാണ് ചിത്രം ഉള്‍ക്കൊള്ളിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. കടുംനിറത്തിലുള്ള മഞ്ഞയാണ് നോട്ടിന് അടിസ്ഥാന നിറം. പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്ര മോദിയുടെ പ്രധാന പദ്ധതിയായ സ്വച്ഛ് ഭാരതിന്റെ ലോഗോയും മുദ്രാവാക്യവും നോട്ടില്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.

അതേസമയം എടിഎമ്മില്‍ പുതിയ നോട്ടുകള്‍ ലഭിക്കുന്നതിന് കുറച്ചു കാലം കൂടി കാത്തിരിക്കേണ്ടി വരും. പുതിയ നോട്ടുകള്‍ വിതരണം ചെയ്യാന്‍ സാധിക്കുന്ന രീതിയില്‍ എടിഎമ്മില്‍ മാറ്റം വരുത്തേണ്ടി വരും എന്നതിനാലാണ് ഇത്.

samsung z2 smartphone

Samsung Z2 smartphone was launched in August 2016. The phone comes with a 4.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 pixels by 800 pixels. Samsung Z2 price in India starts from Rs. 4,650. The Samsung Z2 is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core it comes with 1GB of RAM. The phone packs 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Samsung Z2 packs a 5-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 0.3-megapixel front shooter for selfies. The Samsung Z2 runs Tizen and is powered by a 1500mAh non removable battery. It measures 121.50 x 63.00 x 10.80 (height x width x thickness) . The Samsung Z2 is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Micro-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, FM, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Accelerometer.

Digital Locker Government of India

DigiLocker is a "digital locker" service launched by the Government of India in February 2015 to provide a secure dedicated personal electronic space for storing the documents of resident Indian citizens.The storage space is linked to the Unique Identification Authority of India (Aadhaar number) of the user. The space can be utilized for storing personal documents like University certificates, Permanent account number (PAN) cards, voter id cards, etc., and the URIs of the e-documents issued by various issuer departments. There is also an associated facility for e-signing documents. The service is intended to minimize the use of physical documents and to provide authenticity of the e-documents. It will also provide secure access to government issued documents. It is also intended to reduce administrative expenses of government departments and agencies and to make it easy for the residents to receive services. To signup the user must possess an Aadhar Card and a mobile number linked to it(Now linking to Aadhar number is not mandatory - You just need a mobile number to create an account in Digilocker).
